Monday's

AHHHHHHHHHHH.

There. I said it. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGGGG

And I said it again.

I had a decent day at school. I am just unmotivated at the moment. I should probably be doing something school related. But I am not. And I do not see it in my future.

I feel like I am loosing control of my kids sometimes and I do not know what to do. What am I going to do next year with classes of 25??? Sometimes I wonder if I made the right choice to become a teacher. Who knows any more.

I need to suck it up. I guess I am down because I do not think the lessons I produce are good enough most of the time. I also think I can and should be pushing my kids more.

Lets see what tomorrow brings..

Holocaust Project suggestions

I would like to do a project with my kids to teach the Holocaust. I was thinking something along the lines of creating a large memorial that could include a large number of ppaerclips or something based on the Paper clip project in Tenn. I was just looking for suggestions. I was tihnking something along the lines of the popular 100 day project in the elementery school, except on a group scale instead of individual projects.

Thoughts???

Saturday...and SUNNY

It is finally warm and sunny out in good ol' Brunswick!! To bad my day requires computer work/lesson plans. Thats ok, I am moving into WW II so that is very interesting. My stress level is through the roof. I ened a vacation!! Good thing one is coming in 2 weeks.

John is busy outside working...burning brush and cutting trees. Everything looks lovely at 275.

Day One

So I've never blogged before, or even kept much of a journal. I usually stop writing after a few days. We shall see how long this lasts lol. I am currently a stressed out first year teacher. I enjoy my job, a lot, but I am in the observation process and its dreiving me crazy. So I am distracting myself by watching American Idol. Which I am more and more convinced is fixed anyways. I still don't understand why they bother with these stupid mentors who are older than dirt half the time or just basically forgotten. Oh-well.


So I am so computer challenged that I am not sure if I know how to get back INTO my blogg or post it on my facebook page...oyie
